About the Position

In the role of Stock Control at KICKS, you are responsible for optimizing and managing inventory levels to ensure accuracy. You analyze inventory data and actively work to develop and improve inventory management processes. The main responsibilities in the role are:

Inventory Monitoring, you continuously monitor inventory levels and ensure their accuracy while optimizing internal replenishment.

Inventory Management, you organize and manage storage space efficiently to optimize correct storage locations and packaging to ensure warehouse utilization.

Inventory Reporting, you continuously report on inventory status, including levels, changes, and any issues that may arise.

Inventory Analysis, you analyze through ABC analysis and demand patterns to suggest improvements in inventory management processes, storage, and thereby minimize excess costs.

Safety and Quality, you work to ensure that stored goods are handled safely and that the storage area complies with KICKS guidelines for safety and quality. This means conducting quality checks, monitoring hazardous goods levels, handling incorrect deliveries and complaints, and conducting interventions and spot checks.

Furthermore, collaboration with other departments is important in the Stock Control role, especially purchasing and sales, for which you work to ensure effective communication and flow of information regarding inventory levels. You will report to the Quality & Planning Manager.

Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 08:00 - 17:00.

Employment Type: Full-time temporary position.

Start Date: Preliminary start in June 2025, and the temporary position lasts until January/February 2026. There may be an opportunity for extension in the same or similar role for the right person.

Requirements and Qualities

Requirements

Previous equivalent experience and/or relevant education
Experience in the logistics industry with automation
Experience and familiarity with data-driven operations
Good IT skills and proficiency in the Office suite, especially Excel
Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written

Preferred

Experience collaborating and working with changes in a warehouse organization
Experience with automation facilities and systems and processes and their interplay
Knowledge/Interest in software (WMS, WCS, TA) and hardware
